Genome BC’s Sector Innovation Program has launched a new intake – SIP8, focusing on health impacts related to climate change. Through this competition, Genome BC aims to support research projects related to the following key research areas:
- Infectious diseases
- Nutrition and food security
- Allergies and respiratory health
- Adaptation and evolution
- Digital solutions of climate change and health
Parameters and key eligibility criteria:
- Total of $2M in funding available from Genome BC
- Project budgets must be in the range of $250K to $500K
- Project terms must be in the range of 24 to 36 months
- No co-funding (matching funds) is required
Applications are due by September 25, 2024.
