A set of CWL-protected orientation videos is now available to support faculty members who are new to UBC, in their first academic appointment, or unfamiliar with Tri-Agency and related funding opportunities. These short, modular videos are a great resource that introduce key federal funding programs that may align with a range of research activities. They also offer a quick introduction to the SPARC team, making it easier for new faculty to identify who to contact for guidance throughout the application process.
These resources are intended to complement any orientation or onboarding materials currently provided within individual units. They are easy to navigate, brief in length, and can be shared either as a full collection or as targeted links for specific programs. The videos will be updated on an ongoing basis to reflect changes to competitions and support services.
