UBC applicants to the 2018 SSHRC Partnership Development Grant (PDG) achieved an outstanding 78% success rate (compared with 47% nationally). In this session, SPARC will provide a brief overview of SSHRC’s three partnership funding opportunities and provide specific strategies for planning, framing, and developing a competitive application. This session will feature insights from Dr. George Belliveau (Language and Literacy Education), who served as the SSHRC review committee chair for the PDG in 2017. For those interested, the second half of the event will take a closer look at the strategies and logistics of the Partnership Development Grant application.
