The Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies is accepting applications for International Visiting Research Scholars (IVRS) for the 2020-21 academic term. This program provides funding to attract outstanding scholars to UBC for an extended visit, providing opportunities to foster interdisciplinary academic exchange and catalyze new research directions. IVRS are exceptional scholars who have achieved the highest levels of distinction in their fields, and whose work has had a broad impact well beyond any one discipline. IVRS will maintain part-time residence at the Institute, and must be hosted by two UBC faculty members from different departments.
Funding: $15,000 for research support, travel, accommodation or paid as a salary stipend
