The Canadian Broiler Hatching Egg Producers Association (CBHEPA), created in 1986,
represents producers from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario and
Quebec.
CBHEPA is launching its 2021 Broiler Breeder Research Grant aimed at providing incentive for
university students to pursue research activities in the field of incubation and production of
broiler hatching eggs.
In 2021, the Broiler Breeder Research Program will provide grants to one or two students (3rd or
4th year level). This grant will provide an opportunity for a student to perform a sho1t-term
broiler breeder research project at a University or research facility in Canada. Thjs program is
open to students in Poultry Science in Canada.
The deadline for submitting an application for the CBHEPA Broiler Breeder Research Grant is
February l , 2021.
