Canada Council for the Arts – Killam Research Fellowships & Killam Prizes

Killam Research Fellowships are awarded annually to full professors at Canadian universities and research institutes, who have an outstanding reputation in their area of research (humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, health sciences, engineering, or studies linking any of these disciplines). The fellowship (awarded by the Canada Council for the Arts) provides two years of release time (valued at $70,000 per year).

The Killam Prizes are among Canada’s most distinguished research awards. They are awarded annually (by the Canada Council for the Arts) to outstanding Canadian scholars in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, health sciences and engineering. Each award is valued at $100,000.
