The James M. Flaherty Program is a premiere international exchange programme, with an objective to build on the network of academic links between Canada and Ireland, and to support the development of excellence in research of individual scholars.
There are two level of awards in this program:
- Flaherty Visiting Professorship: for an established senior researcher or academic taking part-time sabbatical-style leave. This award could support you making a trip as a Visiting Professor for eight to twelve weeks in a university department in Canada / Ireland where you will collaborate in both research and teaching.
- Flaherty Research Scholarship: for a PhD student or post-doctoral academic in the early stages of a research career. This award could support a short research visit of four to six weeks.
Applications must be submitted by Monday June 25th.
