Agritech Innovation Challenge

Innovate BC is partnering with both the Federal + Provincial governments to launch the second Agritech Innovation Challenge, offering a total of $150,000 in support for made-in-BC technology solutions for three defined categories:

  • Food processing technologies
  • Food traceability technologies
  • Precision agriculture technologies and bioproducts

In addition to seed funding to advance new technologies, participants will receive mentorship and support through Innovate BC’s Agriculture Venture Accelerator Program (AVAP).

To be eligible for this Challenge, companies and researchers must: 

  • Be primarily located in British Columbia 
  • Be incorporated in Canada 
  • Have 100 or fewer employees
