Announcing CUES funding & application dates for 2019

 

The UBC Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) fund has been renewed for 2019!

 

We are happy to announce a total of $500,000 is available this year across two streams:

 

  • Funds for Exploring New Community-University Partnerships (up to $15,000; min. $7,500) to help get community-engaged projects off the ground.

 

  • Funds for Sustaining Community-University Partnerships (up to $30,000; min $15,000) to help keep partnerships afloat, activate the results of previous collaborations and drive more direct impacts in partnership with community.

Deadlines

 

  • Letters of intent (required) due Aug. 30, 2019. LOI templates to be released soon. Stay tuned.
  • Applications (also required) due Oct. 18, 2019.

 

What is CUES?

 

CUES funding is designed to deepen the relevance and public impact of research and education, and to support the translation of research into action and enhance university engagement and collaboration with local communities, particularly those that have been historically underserved, marginalized and excluded.
