The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Corporation and Impact Canada have announced Round Four of the Housing Supply Challenge: “Building for the Future: Innovative Construction for Housing Affordability.” This challenge prioritizes finding ways to make it easier to build houses. It addresses construction-related barriers to housing supply. The submission deadline is April 13, 2023.

Internal Selection (deadline February 6th, 2023):
UBC may submit only one application to Round Four of the Housing Supply Challenge. Researchers interested in applying should submit a 3 page (maximum) summary of the proposed project addressing each of the following application requirements:
- Solution Description (65%): description of your solution and its expected impacts on housing supply.
- Feasibility of the Solution and Applicant Capacity (20%): describe the technical feasibility of your solution and outline what you have done (or plan do to) to engage those who will use, benefit and/or be impacted by the solution.
- Long-term Viability of the solution (15%).
