Call for Research Award Nominations: Agilent Early Career Professor Award

 

UBC has been invited to submit 1 application (or at most 2) for the Agilent Early Career Professor Award, which is valued at $120k and available to tenure-track professors up to 12 years past PhD/MD residency, who are leading researchers with work aligning with the focus area of “Contributions to the development of live cell analytical tools to identify and measure novel critical quality attributes (CQA) to advance biomanufacturing applications.”

 

Given the nominee quota, VPRI will hold an internal selection process to confirm which candidate(s) will submit to Agilent. Please ask eligible nominees to submit the following by Thurs, Feb 2 at 9 am to meaghan.miller@ubc.ca:

 

  1. Cover Letter: 500-words (written and signed by candidate)
    • Describe research contributions to Focus Topic and importance to Agilent and the world
  2. 1000-word proposal
    • Describe areas of expertise, contribution to measurement technology and future research directions
  3. Updated CV

 

A reminder that for all awards, departments, divisions, institutes, schools and faculties are strongly encouraged to embed equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) considerations in their nomination strategies.
