Applications are now open for the Abbotsford Community Foundation’s Agricultural Enhancement Grants Program. This is a matching grant of up to $50,000.
This year the committee decided that granting will be focused on agricultural innovation, specifically as is related to any or all of the following:
- Product development
- Value added agricultural innovations
- Solutions for product-to-market supply chains
- Entrepreneurial farm practices to enhance market growth
- Agri-Tourism – farm to table and/or Agri Education initiatives
- Diversification of farming operations
- Regulatory compliances
- Climate change adaptation/mitigation
Letters of intent will be accepted until April 6, 2023. Completed applications are due on April 21st.
