This first session (1-2:30pm) will provide an overview of the German research landscape and funding opportunities in support of research activities with Germany, presented by representatives from the DFG (the German Research Foundation) and the DAAD (the German Academic Exchange Service). The second session (3-4:00pm) will feature a panel of faculty members who will reflect on their experience of collaborating with German partners and on their success in securing research funding from Germany.
The information presented will be relevant to faculty, postdocs, and PhD students from across the disciplinary spectrum, as well as to staff who support them in facilitating funding. Participants can choose to register for one or both sessions.
