Q&A Session for Call for Solutions Scholars Projects
Program Details and Application Form
What is the Solutions Scholars Program?
Designed to encourage cross disciplinary research in the areas of climate change mitigation, adaptation and education, researcher teams from across both Vancouver and Okanagan campuses are invited to submit project ideas that explore climate solutions. The program supports graduate student Solutions Scholars who will spend ten months working on a selection of these solutions-oriented research projects.
This is the first stage of a two-stage process:
- First, climate solutions-oriented projects are submitted from researchers through a Notice of Intent and pitch process. Researchers at any UBC campus and from across all disciplines, including arts, humanities, education, medicine, science etc. are encouraged to submit research project ideas.
- Second, graduate students are invited to apply to work on the selected research projects throughout a ten-month term from September 2025 to June 2026.
