CIHR recently launched the Summer 2025 Planning & Dissemination Grant competition (i.e., Other: Planning and Dissemination Grants – ICS) with a June 19 Application deadline. The budget envelope is $2,920,000, which is the largest since the Winter 2023 cycle and enough to fund ~124 awards. Awards across the 24 different funding pools are valued between $10k and 75k for 1 year (see Sponsor Descriptions for details).
The major update this cycle is the use of the new narrative-style Tri-agency CV, so SPARC’s Summer 2025 competition support is expanding beyond the first item to include two new offerings:
- SPARC Planning and Dissemination Guidebooks and Activity Description Templates, available on our CWL-protected CIHR Resources webpage;
- SPARC-annotated version of the CIHR Tri-agency CV template, attached and also available in our CIHR Resources section (CWL required); and
- CIHR Tri-agency CV drop-in consultations available on Thursday, May 22 (10am-1pm) and Monday, May 26 (1-4pm), requiring registration via the online form at the bottom of the SPARC announcement and day-before submission of draft CV.
