Applications for the 2025 Participatory Action Research (PAR) Grants will be open from July 2 to August 5, 2025!
These grants are designed to support research that is co-led by community members and researchers aimed at understanding the root causes of pressing issues impacting the health of communities in BC. Projects may focus on the social determinants of health, which can include education, employment, housing, healthcare, and many more that play a key role in shaping and strengthening community health.
Applications to the PAR grant streams are open to research teams co-led by a community organization and a research organization.

Two granting streams will be available to support different stages of research:
1. Convene grants provide up to $25,000 to help teams explore a complex issue to develop a research question and a participatory research project plan.
