- Accelerate Cleantech call has been launched. This call offers enhanced matching of up to 2:1 for project related to cleantech in transportation, energy generation and storage, waste and sustainable materials, built environment, agriculture and food services. - Through the NSERC Alliance-Mitacs Accelerate grants, NSERC leverages industry cash contributions at 2:1 and Mitacs leverages industry cash contributions at 1:1. This allows applicants to add HQP to the NSERC application with Mitacs funding at no additional cost to the industry partner
- Indigenous Pathways is still available offering 3:1 matching for all internships that have an Indigenous partner organization and/or an intern who is Indigenous. Additionally Indigenous interns working on tech projects (or with tech companies) will have access to enhanced support for travel and accommodation expenses in projects Enhanced support for Indigenous students in BC’s tech sector | Mitacs.
- Globalink Research Award Thematic Call: supports international student mobility in the areas of Advanced computing, Clean technologies, Health Innovations, and Open Innovation.
- Funds 12-24 week research projects at eligible international partner institutions.
- $6K award that covers stipend and/or travel/research expenses.
- Call closes November 17, 2023 at 5pm PT.
- Do not require Post-secondary institution co-funding.
