UBC Office of Research Services (ORS) deals primarily with grant-funded research projects. ORS staff will assist you in obtaining institutional signatures for a grant application, ensuring required compliance certificates are in place for research involving human subjects, animals or biohazardous materials, setting up research accounts, transferring research funds to collaborators at other institutions, registering clinical trials and more.

UBC Institutional Programs Office (IPO) provides administrative and strategic support to researchers pursuing major infrastructure awards.

VPRI Research Orientation Day for new faculty members is a FREE annual summer event that connects new faculty members with research support units and resources. New researchers meet experienced faculty, research advisors for SSHRC, CIHR, and CFI, and one another.
