The upcoming CIHR Operating Grant: Clinical Trials Projects competition requires applicants to include a Letter of Indirect Costs. SPARC will be coordinating the process for obtaining the required Host Institution signature.
If you are planning to this competition, please contact Flora To-Miles flora.to-miles@ubc.ca, SPARC Health Research Development Officer (ideally before November 3) to obtain a Letter of Indirect Costs template. The general timeline for this letter is as follows:
- PIs submit draft letter to Flora by November 3
- Flora to coordinate with VPRI to obtain Gail’s signature and will send letters back to PIs by November 10
- PIs submit RPIF packages by November 14, ahead of the November 21 agency deadline
