NSERC has announced the official launch of this year’s Discovery Horizons competition, with a Letter of Intent deadline of June 14, 2024.

The objective of this funding opportunity is to support investigator-initiated individual and team Discovery research projects that broadly integrate or transcend disciplines to advance knowledge in the natural sciences and engineering (NSE) and that would significantly benefit from being assessed by an interdisciplinary peer review committee. Full applications submitted to this NSERC program will thus be reviewed by the tri-agency interdisciplinary peer review committee.

NSERC’s Discovery Horizons grants will fund individual or team-based projects that broadly integrate or transcend disciplines and that would benefit from a tri-agency interdisciplinary peer review.
